24/09/25 - Gembooru will be shutting down soon as I don't want to pay for hosting, I don't want to give some randos the booru.soy database, and since you should just be using soybooru.com instead. A new gembooru will probably happen soon.

23/08/17 - YaroslavTV has officially retired from the booru and is no longer a helper/approver.

23/08/17 - Lolkek was able to gain access to the booru and wipe everything a second time due to him having a sleeper account called "nineveh." I have reverted back to the backup from July 27th once again. Only DOLL and I now have admin. Lolkek has been banned.

23/08/17 - Effective August 19th, 2023, all images that contain sexualized depictions of minors, or images that contain dead children, will be deleted. A true uploading policy will be in effect, and so will rules. Most lolkek and kuz-era policies will be replaced, and some are already no longer in effect.

23/08/17 - SoyBooru has been migrated from SQLite to MySQL. Thank you to the ex-kolyma dev that helped me with this. Enjoy the speed increase!
